After their disasturous preformance, Daisy and Richard have a falling out, in retaliation for him kicking her out, she leaves Manhatten without telling him. In Harlem, she is approach by the Harlem RSC branch leader Miles, who convinces her to join. Dance major Lina's audition for a dance troop causes Miss Garcia to ask Poncho for an original piece, but he and Lia can't agree on the music concept. Lia falls and her audition is postponed due to the minor injury. Her prior diagnosis of multiple sclerosis causes the insurance company to decide to remove her from the school. Mamba tells Poncho about Lia's impending removal when Poncho and Lia become romantically involved. Mamba fills in for Lia, then fakes an injury to make a place for her return.
